Orlee Malka is a visual artist and writer working in painting, performance and video.
Born in 1980, Lives and works in Herzliya. Malka has studied at the Bezalel Academy of Art and Design in Jerusalem and holds a B.E.d from the school of Art and Technology, Kibbutzim College, Tel Aviv.
Malka has co-founded the art & social change house Salon Mazal (2003-2005), and with it founded Minorit Gallery, an independent artists-run project.
In 2015 she co-founded the Arava Artist Residency Program (upcoming) at the Arava institute for Environmental Studies, an international residency program with an emphasis on friendship among nations and environmental healing.
Malka has exhibited in solo and group exhibitions, among them at: Artists’ House Jerusalem, Barbur Gallery, Jerusalem, ArtTLV Biennale, Tel Aviv and the Petach Tikva Museum of Art.
