Anna Yam (b. Ekaterinburg, Russia) Iives and work in Tel-Aviv.
Solo exhibitions include ”Olympus” at Ashdod Museum of Art (2019), ”Bird’s Milk” at tel Aviv Museum of Art (2014); ”Habitat” at Braverman Gallery (2012), “22:22” at Braverman Gallery (2009) and solo show at the Midrasha art gallery, Tel Aviv (2007) among others. Selected group exhibitions include: “Young Israeli Art” at the Helena Rubinstein Pavilion, Tel Aviv Museum of Art (2007-8); “News 2007 – New Acquisitions” at the Haifa Museum of Art (2007) and more. Yam holds a MFA (Honors) from The Bezalel Academy for Art and Design, Tel Aviv (2008) and a B.Ed (Honors) from the Midrasha College of Arts in Beit Berl (2005). Yam was awarded the Prize to Encourage Creativity, The Ministry of Culture and Sport (2016); Asylum Arts Grants Program (2017); Ministry of Israeli Culture and Sports Prize for a Young Artist (2010); the Ministry of Culture and Sport Artist-Teacher Award (2009-2011). She is also the recipient of America- Israel Cultural Foundation Prize (2008-2009, 2004-2005); The Morasha Art Foundation Prize, Tel Aviv Museum of Art (2007); the Yehoshua Rabinowitz Foundation for the Arts grant (2006, 2013).
