Daniel Meir is a Tel-Aviv based sound artist and a sound designer, specializing in original music and sound design for video art, documentaries, film, and theater. He also teaches sound art and sound design at Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design, Jerusalem.
Daniel has been working with critically acclaimed video artists, filmmakers, and musicians from around the world. Notably, he has collaborated on works featured at the Venice Biennale, on Academy Awards (Oscar) nominated films and a Cannes winning film. In addition to sound design, music projects, and teaching, he has co-founded and is the director of Halas Radio an experimental internet radio station sponsored by The Israeli Center for Digital Art.
