Yasmin Gur

Yasmin Gur. Born  in the Negev desert recently returned from New York after 20 yeras and lives in Herzeliya.

 Her recent  work of art is a sculpture built with reclaimed wood. Using weathered material, she appropriates the histories of her salvaged material to create structures that evoke the living processes of an organism. Her work, biomorphic yet geometric abstract forms in wood, metal, and other materials, embodies sensuality, ambiguity, and ambivalence.
