Shirel Horovitz

Shirel Horovitz (b. 1979, Haifa) is a multidisciplinary artist living and working in Tel Aviv. She holds a BFA from the Department of Fine Arts at Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design, Jerusalem (2007), and an MFA from the Interdisciplinary Arts Program at Tel Aviv University (2015). Horovitz is the recipient of the Rabinovich Foundation Award (2018), the Weissman Art Grant (2023), and a Mifal HaPais Grant for her upcoming exhibition (2025). Her works have been exhibited in museums and galleries in Israel and abroad, including the Colby Museum of Art (Waterville, Maine), the Durham Municipal Gallery (North Carolina), Barbur Gallery, Tel Aviv Artists’ Studios, and the Bat Yam Museum of Contemporary Art.
