Alona Friedberg

Artist and lecturer, born in Jerusalem, resident of Herzliya. Works mainly in video and new media environments. Her works deal with the interrelationships between the physical space and the virtual space, with local ethos of the present and the past and with the re-editing of representations. Her works have been exhibited on many occasions, in solo and group exhibitions, in museums, galleries, festivals and alternative spaces in Israel and around the world, including the Tel Aviv Museum, Haifa Museum, Herzliya Museum, Petah Tikva Museum, Jewish Museum in New York, Biennale “Between Two Cities” Korea, House of world culture Berlin and more. Lecturer in Art in the Faculty of Arts of the Midrasha and in the Department of Art at Bezalel.
