Hadas Satt

Hadas Satt (b. 1981, Israel) is a photographer, writer, and lecturer living and working in Tel Aviv. Her work examines the relationship between camera and body, photography and memory – creating a photographic syntax built from the intersection of different viewpoints and temporalities.

She graduated with honors with a BFA from the Photography Department at Bezalel Jerusalem and an MFA from Bezalel Tel Aviv. Her works have been exhibited in solo and group exhibitions in Israel and internationally, including the Biennale for Young Artists in Moscow, MOCA Museum in Shanghai, China, Tel Aviv Museum of Art, Israel Museum Jerusalem, Herzliya Museum of Contemporary Art, and Raw Art Gallery Tel Aviv.

Her works are held in the collections of the Israel Museum Jerusalem, Tel Aviv Museum of Art, Ashdod Museum of Art, Shpilman Institute for Photography, and private collections. She is the recipient of the Israel Makob Prize from Ashdod Museum, the Young Artist Award from the Ministry of Culture and Sport, the Ayleen and Donald Cooper Prize, and excellence scholarships from Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design.
