Lior is the founder and artistic producer of the Print Screen Festival. Currently, Lior is a visiting scholar in New York University whose research focuses on engagement and commitment of users in digital environments. As a researcher he has won grants and awards from the Fulbright foundation, Dan David Prize, Google, Marketing Science Institute, Caesarea Rothschild Foundation and Social Informatics SIG. Prior to his work in New York, Lior was a lecturer at Tel Aviv University as well as IDC and the Open University. In 2016, Lior was appointed to a researcher position at the Metropolitan Museum Media Lab where he researches digital arts and culture. Furthermore, Lior is also an award and grant winning writer for the stage and screen whose works have won awards and have been showcased over the world. He has written for publications such as Wired UK and MIT Sloan Review, has served as a lector for the Israeli new fund for cinema, Rabinovich foundation and CoPro and has advised dozens of new media artists and events.
Zalmanson will be a guest of the residency program as part of a research for a future project.
