Anja Manfredi (*1978) lives and works as an artist in Vienna. She studied at the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna with Eva Schlegel and Josephine Pryde (1999-2005) and at the School of Artistic Photography under the direction of Friedl Kubelka (1998/99), which she took over in 2010. Since 2016 she has been a member of the Vienna Secession artists’ association. Local and international exhibitions, including solo exhibitions at the Museum der Moderne Salzburg (2013) or at the House of Art, Budweis (2015). In planning: Lumen. Museum of Mountain Photography, Italy (2022) and Bank Austria Kunstforum, Vienna (2023). State scholarship for photography of the BMKÖS. Artist-residencies in Rome, Paris, New York City and Herzliya. Manfredi is the recipient of the Outstanding Artist Award for artistic photography, BKA (2017).
