Netaly Aylon, born in 1987, lives and works in Tel Aviv and Mazkeret Batya.
Holds a BFA from the Bezalel Academy of Art and Design and works in sculpture, drawing, and installation Aylon’s works explore the hermetic theory, which suggests that all systems in the universe- from the atom to the planets – are composed similarly and share a common core.
She works with goldsmithing, ceramics, moldmaking, and kinetics to create sculptural installations that examine phenomena demonstrating morphological resonances between the human body, nature, and celestial objects. Through this resonance, she asks about the origin of forms, wishing to illuminate an unmediated connection between the physical and the sublime, between humans and nature.
She presented a solo exhibition at the Artists’ Studios Gallery (Tel Aviv) and participated in numerous group exhibitions at the Herzliya Museum, Bat Yam Museum, Petah Tikva Museum, Raw Art Gallery, Ehad Ha’am 9 Gallery, and others.
Aylon received the Young Artist Award from the Israeli Ministry of Culture and Sports (2017), the Outset grant for a new work (2024), the Israeli Lottery Council grant (2017), and the Rabinovich Foundation Scholarships (2017, 2022, 2023, 2024).
