Sharon Zuckerman Weiser

Sharon Zuckerman Weiser is a multidisciplinary artist dedicated to highlighting the empirical significance of the human body and its irreplaceable presence. Through live performances, pre-enacted videos, and immersive installations, she engages audiences in exploring bodily presence and the immediacy of the present moment. Raised in dance from a young age, she discovered the power of the expressive body, charismatic presence, and the ability to influence others—skills that have become crucial as the world transitions from physical to virtual realities. With an MFA from Bezalel Academy for Art and Design and a Diploma in Choreography from P.A.R.T.S in Belgium, Zuckerman has collaborated with notable artists and has been featured at prestigious festivals. She founded the Simulator program for contemporary performers and led the Kelim bi-annual choreography program in Bat Yam. Currently teaching at the Salzburg Experimental Academy of Dance (SEAD), she focuses on themes of the human body, presence, and experience. An active performer and dramaturg, Zuckerman collaborates with top local artists such as Hillel Kogan, Iris Erez, Ohad Fishof, Keren Dunitz, and Avishai Cohen. She resides in Tel Aviv with her partner and their three daughters.
